The Scottish Pubs Code Adjudicator has launched its new website. SPCA was previously hosted on the Scottish Government website, and this new, independent website has been developed to improve access to information and the services provided by SPCA.
Sarah Havlin, Scottish Pubs Code Adjudicator, said, “I’m delighted that we’ve launched a new, independent website for SPCA. Feedback from tenants, from our recent survey and from our stakeholders has highlighted the importance of clear, accurate and accessible information about the Scottish Pubs Code. Our new website makes that information clearer and easier to use.
“The new website also reflects the independent nature of our service, reinforcing our independence from government and our impartiality between tied pub tenants and pub-owning businesses.
“We’ll continue to add new content and resources over time. Feedback from tied pub tenants and pub-owning businesses is invaluable. Visitors can tell us whether the content is helpful, including through our website poll. Their views will help us to improve the website and ensure that we provide the best possible information on the rights and responsibilities under the Code.”
