Who we are

The Scottish Pubs Code governs the relationship between tied pub tenants and their landlords in Scotland, ensuring fair treatment and transparency in their dealings.

Who we are

The Scottish Pubs Code Adjudicator is the independent regulator responsible for overseeing and enforcing the Scottish Pubs Code. We work to support fair and lawful relationships between pub-owning businesses and tied pub tenants, helping to build trust and transparency across Scotland's tied pubs sector.

Led by Adjudicator Sarah Havlin, we engage with tenants, pub-owning businesses and other stakeholders to provide guidance, promote understanding of the Code and uphold the protections it provides. Read more about Sarah Havlin.

We are committed to supporting the effective operation of the Scottish Pubs Code in practice. By listening to those affected and maintaining an open dialogue across the sector, we help foster a shared understanding of rights, responsibilities and expectations, supporting positive and constructive working relationships.
