What we do

We promote the effective operation of the Scottish Pubs Code and support a fair, transparent and well-functioning tied pubs sector in Scotland.

Working with tenants, pub-owning businesses and other stakeholders, we raise awareness and understanding of the rights, responsibilities and protections set out in the Code. We provide advice and guidance, encourage good practice and build confidence in the operation of the tied pub model.

We monitor compliance with the Code and, where appropriate, investigate concerns, determine disputes and exercise the powers available to the Adjudicator under the legislation.
